Emma James
Deputy Director
Emma began her career in youth development and global education as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco, where she led programs focused on youth engagement and gender equity. She went on to manage a U.S. Department of State exchange initiative fostering civic diplomacy between youth in the United States and countries with significant Muslim populations. Emma later joined the Clinton Foundation, where she developed social impact programming for university students and emerging leaders. She holds a Master’s in International Education Development from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Bowdoin College.
